Taking care of little Birgit consumes a lot of time and so does my new new interest: video-editing.
Not that I'm good at it but I think it is a lot of fun; check out my self made paddling clips:

August 30th 2005:

It's been a LOOOOONG time............

Almost a whole year and a lot has happened:
- In Oktober my van with my surfkayak and all my paddling gear in it was stolen :-(
- In December I found out that I was going to loose my (new and great) job as of April :-(
- In Januari I moved to Belgium
- On the 2nd of March little Birgit was born :-)

Back to the paddling updates now:

Last weekend I shot some very nice footage of Tim 'Spikey' Roubos paddling his brand new Dragorossi Fish. Although he's still dialing in the boat and in need of some more outfitting I think the clip is pretty cool. WMV file 3min20, filesize 17Mb

In May I bought a new Surfkayak; a Marauder PE. This is a slightly bigger version of my previous boat.
Just in time because on June 1st we spent a long kayak surfing session in incredible clean surfing conditions (For The Netherlands that is).

On 25th/26st September 2004 I teamed up with Wilko and friends for the dam-release on the Vltava river in the Tsjech Republic. Awesome run, too bad they only release water once a year...

August 14th 2004; Kayaksurfing the Dutch coast, still paddling my stolen Marauder :-(

I noticed that my site was lacking footage of the beautiful river Rur just across the German border.
So I compiled pictures of three different trips, showing the big variation in character and scenery.

2004... September 18th:

It took us two year to get back to our roots... Zakman and Rocky visited the Roermond Fishsteps again.

September 17th:

Videolinklist updated with IRBG 2004 winners, kayak and waveski surfing, and some cool clips from the Liquid Logic Video contest.

August 9th:

Pictures from Rocky's Austria - Slovenia - Austria tour with Nigel added.

Rocky caught on film for the very first time, now that's high performance surf kayaking ;-)

So far we've had two weekends in June: two different playspots and the pics are already online. The first weekend we visited Switzerland to surf in Bremgarten after that we went surfing a tidal wave at a sluice in France.

We're back from a nice paddling trip in the French Alps, more than 30 new pics have been added and there will be more as the pictures are still coming in.
